The Challenge of a Greying Work Force
The new federal government has brought to Parliament a more focused agenda. Halifax, NS - The Workplace Partners Panel (WPP), a collaborative initiative led by business and labour leaders, is holding stakeholder sessions throughout the Atlantic region. Labour and business leaders have agreed to form an unusual alliance to lead an important discussion on long term solutions to the labour market challenges arising from Nova Scotia’s aging workforce. Gathering representatives from the immigrant community, education sector, and all level of government, the WPP hopes to influence stakeholders and mobilize those who can – and should – be involved in addressing this very serious issue.
